Stars

Stars are very luminous bodies in the universe. The temperature of the stars is more the you can imagine. The closest star to the earth, Sun's temperature at its surface is approximately 5500 degrees celsius and at its core the temperature reaches up to 15 million degrees celsius. The Milky Way Galaxy contains up to 100 billion stars and approximately 1 billion trillion stars in the observable universe. Stars can be classified into 7 types on the bases of their temperature and brightness and they are - O, B, A, F, G, K and M. O type of stars are the brightest and M type of stars are dimest.
